Riding Boot Repair- another happy customer
" Gentlemen,
My riding boots arrived back in the post this morning and I have to tell you that I'm quite delighted with the job which you have done, they are quite superb. It is a little over fifty years since I bought these boots and I had thought that I was going to have to spend a lot of money in order to replace them. That is no longer going to be necessary, since, at eighty two years of age I am not expecting to continue riding motor cycles for more than another fifteen years or so, in which case these boots will probably see me out. Thank you once again."

  • take in, tailor and expand ladies boots to fit each individual shape
  • zips can be replaced
  • boots can be shortened
  • heels lowered or made higher
  • boots and shoes dyed to your individual choice.

In fact, the more difficult the challenge, the more excited we get as we strive to satisfy our customers needs. We are proud to be able to say that we have never knowingly failed, no matter how difficult the task.

We also offer a full design service from our own ‘in-house’ designers. This innovative team is headed by Mr Peter Bullock - England’s own Master Shoemaker. They are happy to discuss with you any ideas you may have on styles and designs, offering their own suggestions and guidance, to ensure that the choice you make is the one that is right for you.

Repair GrensonsPeter Bullock’s apprentices have collected National awards in recognition of their leatherwork and have been honoured to meet the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

We are proud to use oak bark tanned leather as we know this to be the best in the world. The oak bark tanning process is a lovely one. Chippings from oak trees are put through a process to produce fluid and oils that mellow the leather over a very slow twelve month process. Once the leather is ready and has absorbed the minerals it is prepared and finished for our skilled craftsmen to work with.
